Dirk Bones and The Mystery of The Haunted House

 

Dirk Bones는 신문사에서 일하는 기자이다. 그는 자신의 기사들을 위한 사실들을 찾으며, 때로는 추리도 해결한다. 그러던 어느날 유령의 집에 또다른 귀신이 들었다는 소식을 듣는다. 집 주인인 유령들은 지하실에서 이상한 소리가 난다고 이야기 한다. 그러나 지하실 벽 뒤에서 소리만 들릴 뿐 지하실에는 아무도 없었다. 밖으로 나간 Dirk Bones는 낡은 무덤에서 나오는 이상한 소리를 듣고 그 무덤 안으로 들어간다. 그곳에는 책상에 앉아 요리책을 쓰는 뱀파이어 Sherman이 있었다. Dirk는 뱀파이어에게 자세한 이야기를 들어 신문에 싣고, 상사로 부터 칭찬을 들으며 이야기가 끝난다. 

This is my typewriter. I live in the town of Ghostly. I am a reporter for the town newspaper, The Ghostly Tombs. I look for all the facts for my stories. Sometimes I solve mysteries.

One night my boss came into my office.

The house on Ghoul Street was dark and spooky.

There must be another ghost making spooky sounds, but we can’t see it.

Where do the sounds come from?

I will check for clues.

The stairs creaked. I heard drip, drip, drip from a leaky pipe, but that was all.

The wind howled through the tress. It blew my hat off my head. I chased my hat to a graveyard next door to the house. It was the spookiest graveyard in the whole town.

What are you doing here?

I was taking a walk through the graveyard. Suddenly I heard a spooky noise. I was too scared to move!

I walked down a long tunnel.

I saw a light ahead. It came from under a large door.

You scared me!

They are scared of your sounds! 그들의 너의 소리들에 겁먹었어.

I meant no harm. 나에게 악의는 없었어.

There is a werewolf in town who is afraid of the moon!
