What Time Is It?

 

아이들에게 시계 보는 법을 가르쳐주기 위한 책인것 같다. 별로 재미있지는 않다.

 

In the middle of the day…

 

Let’s have some fun. The baseball game has just begun.

즐거운 시간을 보내자.

 

One is too early. Three is too late. If you come in between, that would be great!

 

School is out. Let’s hop on the bus.

 

We went out to play at 3:30.

“Only half an hour,” said Mom. “Don’t get dirty.”

 

Mom took one look at us and cried, “Oh no!”

엄마는 우리는 한번 쳐다보고, 외쳤다,

 

My dog gets up early, at half past six. He waits half an hour and then he does tricks.

• half an hour: 반시간 = 30분

 

Time to wake up. Time to go to bed. Either way, I am a sleepyhead.

• Either way: 어떤 경우라도, 어느 쪽으로든

• Sleepyhead: 잠꾸러기. 졸려 보이는 어린이

 

Eight hours more and Dad’s job is all done.

 

“Can I try that for a minute?”

 

It took me an hour to get my toy back again!

 

The monsters creep. 서서히 다가오다.
