Arthur’s Tree House

Arthur는 재미있는 만화잭을 집에서 보고 싶었지만, 집에는 가족들이 무언가를 하고 있어서 집중하기 힘들었다. 그는 집중할 장소를 물색하던 중, 나무 위를 발견한다. 나무 위에서 책을 읽는 Arthur를 보고 그의 아버지는 나무 위에 작은 집을 만들어 준다.

 

Arthur came home with his new Bionic Bunny comic book. He couldn’t wait to read it. Dad was vacuuming in Arthur’s bedroom.

Do you have to do that now?

I am afraid so, I’ll be done in a little while.

Arthur went to the living room.

I am practicing my new twirl.

Not now, Arthur. I’m right in the middle of this.

Where could Arthur go? He looked to the right. He looked to the left. And then he looked up.

 

I see you found a place for yourself. You look pretty comfortable up there.

This was a great idea, Arthur. But I think we should make some improvements. It took a while to get everything just right.

Once the tree house was done, Arthur had a new place to go. And so did his friends. Sometimes his family came to visit, too.

Arthur was glad for all the company. But there were times when he still liked having the place to himself.
