D.W. The Big Boss

D.W. 가족들이 자신이 원하는 방식대로 행동하기를 원한다. 아버지에게는 설탕을 더 넣으라고 말하며, 어머니에게는 집을 청소하라고 말하고, 오빠에게는 좀 더 다양한 목소리로 책을 읽어달라고 이야기 한다. 이에 기분이 상한 가족들은 D.W.를 위해 어떤 것도 해주지 않고, 그제서야 자신의 잘못을 깨달은 D.W.는 가족들에게 부탁하기 시작한다. 

D.W. was feeling bossy. Even bossier than usual!

“It needs more sugar,” she told her father.

“More sugar,” D.W. insisted. “Or it will taste yucky.”

It’s messy in here.

That’s okay, I know where everything is.

You are saying it all wrong.

At bedtime, she stopped Arthur in the middle of a story. “Your voices all sound the same,” she complained. “I am doing the best I can,” said Arthur. “Well,” sniffed D.W., “you really need to practice.”

“What’s for breakfast?” D.W. asked the next morning.

You always cook me breakfast.

Sorry, I am afraid I’ll do it wrong.

You are not dressed. We’re going to be late for my play date!

I can’t worry about that. I have to figure out how to clean up my office. 알다. 생각해내다.

This family needs more help than I thought!

You make the best meals in the whole world, Dad. Could you please try again?

I’ll see what I can do.

I could help you clean up the mess, Mom. Then you could get dressed.

D.W. found Arthur playing with Kate.

When your voice feels better, maybe you could read me another story.

D.W. folded her arms.

But I know you’ll get it right soon!
