Froggy Eats Out

Then he dried off with a towel.

Froggy opened it - and knocked over a glass of water. ~을 넘어 뜨리다.

But it was hard to be neat and quiet. He fidgeted.

He banged his spoon on the table.

Froggy sat down. Finally, dinner was served. Froggy stuck his fork into a huge plate of spaghetti and sucked some up. stick의 과거: ~을 찔러넣다, 꽂다.

suck: 입으로 빨다. 빨아 올리다. 흡수하다. 삼키다.

It was fun, so he slurped up some more.

소리내어 먹다. 

And that's when he saw Frogilina.

"Who's that pretty girl frog?"

Froggy was so embarrassed, he ducked beneath the tablecloth till his spaghetti and fly sauce landed smack on his head.

duck: 머리를 쑥 넣다. 

smack: 어떤 사람이나 물건을 힘을 주어 때리다. 퍽 소리가 나게.

"Oops!" cried Froggy, looking more red in the face than green.

Froggy scooped spaghetti off his face. 퍼내다.
