여름 방학을 맞이하여 세 명의 친구가 약간의 허풍을 떨며 휴가 계획을 이야기한다. 그리고 허풍 때문에 말다툼도 한다. 하지만 세 명의 친구는 모두 집에서 가장 가까운 해변에서 우연히 만난다. 그리고 좋은 시간을 보낸다. 다른 Fun Read시리즈에 비해서는 약간 유치했다. 하지만 이 책을 통해서 몰랐던 표현들을 배웠기에 간단하게 정리한다.

It seemed to upset Olivier that Jennifer and I had fallen out.

He is so nice that he never quarrels with anyone.

He wanted to say something to Jennifer to make us patch things up.

But I took him by the hand and said, “Come on, let’s not stay with that little pest.”

I thought about it a great deal at the beginning of the holidays. Not being friends with her anymore bothered me a little.

Well, all in all, it is good thing that your cruise and my camel trip did not work out.

It irritated me slightly, but we were not going to quarrel again.

No sooner said than done, we got down to work.
