문화의 차이에서 오는 괴리감이 컸다. 더욱이 중간중간 나오는 스페인어는 나를 더욱 혼동으로 몰았다. 그럼에도 Mars가 붉은 이유가 칠리 가루 때문이라는 설정은 우스꽝스러우면서도 신기했다. 또한 스페인어를 한번쯤 배우고 싶다는 생각도 들었다. 스페인어를 모르면 완전히 소화하기 힘든 책이라고 느꼈다. 그럼에도 상상력을 자극할 수 있다는 측면, 또는 다른 문화를 접한다는 측면에서는 추천할 만한 책이다.
