SpongeBob LovePants

스펀지밥은 기분이 언짢아 보이는 Squidward를 위해 그에게 연인을 만들어주려고 한다. 우여곡절 끝에 Squidward와 Karla는 친해지게 되고, 스펀지밥은 이를 보고 뿌듯해 한다.   

The kelp is in bloom! Love is in the air!

He slammed his front door as he went back inside.

 

“Gee, Squidward sure is grouchy today,” SpongeBob said. “I wonder what will make him happy.”

• Grouchy: 기분이 언짢은, 시무룩한

 

SpongeBob and Patrick asked everyone in Bikini Bottom if they wanted to go on a date with Squidward.

“What a grouch,” they said.

• Grouch: 토라진 사람, 투덜거리는 사람

 

Hmm, maybe Karla would go out with Squidward.

• go out with  ~와 교재하다. 

Aren’t the buns that Karla delivers delicious?

I think they are rather stale.

• Rather: 다소, 어느정도 = small amount, quite, to a slight degree

 

That’s for sure.

SpongeBob wanted the two to get along. 사이좋게 지내다.

SpongeBob tried to get Squidward and Karla to talk.

 

I am glad he's gone.

SpongeBob was only trying to be kind. 

Maybe if we were nice, he would feel better.

The only thing in the air I smell is stale patty buns.

The two of them laughed.

Squidward and Karla rolled their eyes.
