Froggy goes to school

<1>

학교가는 첫날이다. 일어나보니 해가 높이 떠 있다. Froggy는 버스를 놓칠까봐 헐레 벌떡 뛰어간다. 너무 급하게 가느라 속옷만 입고 버스를 타는 바람에 아이들에게 놀림거리가 된다. 자신의 이름을 부르는 소리가 들려 정신을 차려 보니 모두 꿈이었다. 

The bus hissed to a stop and the door folded open.

긴 s 소리 같은 소음을 내다. 

He dashed to the back of the bus and hid behind Max's umbrella all the way to school. 돌진하다. 급히가다.

He pretended to be a flowerpot.

Froggy rubbed his eyes. He had been dreaming.

"Rise and shine, Froggy," said his father. "It's the first day of school!"

일어나 / 기상해라

이번에는 옷을 잘 잘쳐려 입고 학교로 향한다. 그러나 Froggy는 학교에서 집중을 잘하지 못한다. 하지만 바닥에 앉아서 지난 여름에 있었던 이야기를 하는 시간이 되자 Froggy는 신이나서 발표한다. 비록 학교에 점심도시락과 모자를 두고 귀가하긴 했지만, Froggy는 학교 첫날을 비교적 즐겁게 보낸다. 

He tried to pour milk on his bowl of flies, but the carton flew out of his hands.

그의 그릇에 담긴 파리들 / 그 상자

And together they leapfrogged all the way to the bus stop.

leapfrog: 등넘기 식으로 넘다.

"Hush, dear. It's time to pay attention."

아가야 입다물어. 집중할 시간이다. 

But it was hard to pay attention. He squirmed.

그는 몸부림쳤다. - 고통, 초초함, 난처함 때문에 이상한 방식으로 측면에서 측면으로 움직이다.

"Kindly stay in your seat, dear,"

kindly 부디 ~해주세요

Who wants to go first?

"Now one at a time."

"이제 한 번에 한 명만."
